PSC decision to accept certificates of all educational institutions recognized by the Central Government, Parliament and UGC without producing a certificate of equivalence.

This will solve the problem of candidates seeking the Equivalency Certificate from the Universities of Kerala before applying for the PSC job. The PSC’s decision comes in the wake of the government’s proposal to address the issue.

The PSC recognizes the certificates of all major UGC accredited private universities, central universities, centrally recognized notional universities, IITs, ISARs and NITs. This also applies to the certificates of UGC accredited state universities. Certificates from all UGC-recognized institutions enacted by Parliament and the Legislature fall under this category.

As there are no candidates for the post of Part Time Junior Language Teacher (Arabic) UPS (OBC) in the Education Department in Kollam District, recommendation will be made for the next backward class candidate from the Mother Rank List. The vacancy for the post of Helper in Beverages (Manufacturing and Marketing) Corporation will be filled from the rank list of LGS posts in various companies, boards and corporations.

The Department of Water Transport will publish a shortlist for the posts of Pattern Maker and Srang (Muslim). The Department of Economics and Statistics in Alappuzha District will publish the shortlist for the posts of Statistical Assistant Grade Two, Statistical Investigator Grade Two and Operator Grade Two (Hindu Nadar).
